Job Summary

Lebanon Seaboard Corporation is seeking a Seasonal Receptionist. The ideal candidate is positive, friendly and willing to work as a collaborative team member. This position is Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, from February through June with additional Fall opportunities. The Receptionist is the face and voice of our company for visitors and callers.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Operating our telephone business system
    • Answering incoming calls and providing pertinent information to the caller
    • Transferring calls to the appropriate source as requested
  • Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine and copier
  • Greeting and checking-in visitors, as well as directing visitors to appropriate offices and buildings
  • Maintain various filing systems
  • Print and copy reports and other data as assigned
  • Coordinating incoming packages and notifying the correct receiver
  • Managing Consumer Emails
    • Creating customer service ‘tickets’
    • Communicating directly with the consumer to address the email and escalating as needed
  • Managing Customer/Other Emails
    • Forwarding to CSR’s in a ‘round-robin’ format
  • Data Entry
  • Customer Service Support
    • Order Entry
    • Pricing Entry
    • Misc. support services
  • Assist other departments as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Education


Physical Requirements:

  • Indoor office environment
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of office equipment
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Occasional bending, reaching and stretching
  • Occasional kneeling, crouching and squatting

Work Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience, ideally in a switchboard or customer service role
