Job Summary
Lebanon Seaboard Corporation is seeking a Seasonal Receptionist. The ideal candidate is positive, friendly and willing to work as a collaborative team member. This position is Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm, from February through June with additional Fall opportunities. The Receptionist is the face and voice of our company for visitors and callers.
Functional Responsibilities
- Operating our telephone business system
- Answering incoming calls and providing pertinent information to the caller
- Transferring calls to the appropriate source as requested
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine and copier
- Greeting and checking-in visitors, as well as directing visitors to appropriate offices and buildings
- Maintain various filing systems
- Print and copy reports and other data as assigned
- Coordinating incoming packages and notifying the correct receiver
- Managing Consumer Emails
- Creating customer service ‘tickets’
- Communicating directly with the consumer to address the email and escalating as needed
- Managing Customer/Other Emails
- Forwarding to CSR’s in a ‘round-robin’ format
- Data Entry
- Customer Service Support
- Order Entry
- Pricing Entry
- Misc. support services
- Assist other departments as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Education
Physical Requirements:
- Indoor office environment
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of office equipment
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasional bending, reaching and stretching
- Occasional kneeling, crouching and squatting
Candidate Attributes:
- Reading and English communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Operate general office procedures and office machines
- Telephone etiquette
Work Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience, ideally in a switchboard or customer service role
